portrait.pngShelley J. Korshak, MD COP, is a psychotherapist and psychiatrist in private practice in Chicago, Illinois. She teaches group psychotherapy and psychodrama in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Chicago, and studies psychodrama through the Mid-South Center for Psychodrama and Sociometry. Her interests are diverse, and she is an active contributor to the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA), the Chicago Center for the Study of Groups and Organizations (CCSGO), the A.K. Rice Institute for the Study of Groups and Organizations (AKRI), and the American Society for Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama (ASGPP); she is also a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT) and the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). Her position as editor for multiple journals and newsletters reflects her passion for group psychotherapy, psychodrama, and writing.
